Master Cheng Yen mentioned about the education concept of raising children when she had a conversation with entrepreneurs.
The Master said:
Instead of leaving your business or a massive fortune to your children, it is better to teach them kindness. Teaching children to do good helps to make their lives better.
The goal of Tzu Chi is to purify people’s minds, that is, to teach everyone to assume their responsibilities. For example, the responsibility of children right now is to study hard. However, they will have to take on family responsibilities in the future.
