Someone asked Master Cheng Yen, “Since you established Tzu Chi, you must have encountered a lot of difficulties and setbacks along the way over the years. How did you overcome them?”
The Master answered:
I abide by these words – “Be willing to give and be happy to accept whatever that comes along”. Since (Tzu Chi) is the path that I have chosen, I must willingly give of myself and be happy to accept whatever comes my way. It is as simple as that.
