Someone asked, “It is normal to have bad thoughts. Although I would not carry out the bad thoughts, how should I deal with them?”
The Master answered:
Everyone has thoughts. Whenever thoughts arise in the mind, we must be able to differentiate between good and bad thoughts and choose the good ones.
Carrying out good thoughts is a way to accumulate merit for good karma while eliminating bad thoughts is a way of getting rid of bad karma.
