Someone asked, “Does prayer do any good?”
The Master answered:
Yes, definitely! Buddha said that there were three things he could not do, he could not dissolve immutable karma, he could not save people who have no affinity with Bodhisattvas, and he could not save every single living being. Even Buddha is not almighty, not to mention ordinary people like us. Thus, we must always be humble, sincere and grateful when we pray and collectively spread unconditional and universal love. The most important thing is to pray piously because it is a form of resonance where everyone’s prayer and kind thoughts could reach all Bodhisattvas and move them to respond to our prayers.
