Tzu Chi Festive Charity Fair 2023: When Food and Fun Meets Charity
A two-day Tzu Chi Festive Charity Fair was held at Tzu Chi Jing Si Hall, featuring delicious vegetarian food and a Chinese New Year goods section offering diverse CNY merchandise where people enjoy eating and buying while donating to charity at the same time. About 500 volunteers were mobilised for the charity fair. Apart from standing guard at the F&B stalls and Chinese New Year goods stall, some of the volunteers hid at the back of Jing Si Hall to gather used tableware for washing and distributing. Whereas some others were busy sorting used resources so as to minimise waste generated from a large event like this.
