No matter how busy, this day of the year can’t be missed!
Every year, on the 24th day of the 3rd lunar month, Tzu Chi volunteers would come to Jing Si Hall to participate in the bowing pilgrimage, followed by the recital of the “Medicine Buddha Sutra”. This practice is done to mark the yearly anniversary celebrations and Master Cheng Yen's birthday. On 13 May this year at 5am, about 200 Singapore Tzu Chi volunteers returned to Jing Si Hall. Even with Tzu Chi 57th Anniversary and Buddha Day Celebration falling on the next day, the volunteers still showed up to pray for the blessings of all sentient beings and wish Master well. At the same time, this served to strengthen their own spirituality.
