A Look Back at Tzu Chi Singapore’s Buddha Day Celebration
Every year, Tzu Chi Singapore holds a 3-in-1 Celebration (Buddha day, Mother day and Tzu Chi day) on the second Sunday of May, bringing Tzu Chi people from around the world together to express their gratitude to Buddha’s kindness towards all sentient beings.
In addition to the ceremony on May 8 2022, Jing Si Hall was also opened to the public to participate in the Buddha bathing ceremony on Vesak Day.
About 2,000 people participated in pre-registered and walk-in sessions over two days, praying for the world with a sincere thought.
In addition to participating in the Buddha bathing ceremony, everyone also brought their heavy bamboo coin banks and donated the love accumulated over time during this special festival.
